Finally the cat is out of the bag, the naming ceremony of Ajith daughter took place in his residence at Tiruvanmiyur on 14th March 2008. Since the baby was born under a particular birth star, there were numerous speculations and guesses about her name. But based on her star sign, Ajith has christened her name as Anoushka, a Sanskrit word which means cherished dreams come true.

Shalini delivered Anoushka in a caesarean surgery in the Apollo Hospital in the wee hours of January 03, 2008 at 01.30 a.m. Many of his close friends and family members were present during the naming ceremony. Wishing Anoushka a bright life lit up with robust health and happiness always.
