Director P. Vasu has decided to have the major part of the shooting of ‘Kuselan’ in Andhra Pradesh, as the movie is simultaneously made in Telugu too. Since Rajinikanth’s getups and dialogues are going to be the same for ‘Kuselan’ and ‘Kuseladu’, the director feels it convenient to shoot both versions in the same place. Meanwhile, the work featuring Pasupathy and Meena has started in Chennai.
Rajini’s statement that he would have only 25 % role in the film has upset Nayantara, who has been roped in as Rajini’s pair. She rues the fact that she is not able to do a full fledged role in Superstar’s films. In ‘Chandramukhi’ she had a limited role and in ‘Sivaji’ she appeared in just a single song with Superstar. If Rajini has only 25% role in ‘Kuselan’, it is inevitable that her role would automatically be a small one.

The beautiful, longing to act with Rajini as a full fledged heroine, has to wait for at least a couple of years. Rajini’s next movie ‘Robot’, directed by Shankar, featuring the Bollywood queen Aishwarya Rai in the female lead, will take two years to complete.
