Devayani gives birth to second child

Actress Devayani gave birth to a girl child on Sunday (January 27). The delivery, which was cesarean, took place in Chetput Mehtha hospital. The child needed to be kept under medical care.

The pleasure of having a new entrant in the house was further enhanced by the arrival of Devayani’s parents, who had been refusing to meet her following her love marriage with director Rajakumaran, a few years ago. It is worth recalling that Jayadev and Lakshmi, parents of Devayani, didn’t turn up to see the first child Iniya.
