INSTANT DOSA:
December 23rd, 2007 Posted in UncategorizedWash 1 cup of boiled rice and ½ cup of black gram with 1sp fenugreek seeds
and then drain the water well in a colander.
Spread the rice etc on a thin cloth until they are well dried.
Then dry grind them in a mixi into a coarse powder.
It must be a thin rawa –like consistency.
This you can keep for some days.
On the day of preparation, add 1 cup of water and ½ cup of thick butter milk
to the flour with enough salt and mix well.
Keep covered the batter for 3 hours.
Then you can make dosas
After spreading the batter you must cover it with a lid like appam and the fire
should be medium.

senmayur stop critising others…. normal Dosa needs minimun of 24hrs …. this one takes only 3hrs… what dont talk like a vazhapalam sombari….
Sorry to ask you, Do you know what is the meaning of INSTANT? You say it is instant and expect us to keep the batter for 3 hours…. sounds a bit funny.
